SOLIDA consummates successful reorientation

As a "Hidden Champion" for inserted tools and chisels for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic hammers, SOLIDA and its dynamic manager have been assertively making inroads into the market for almost two years now. Julia Broy as Managing Director has been guiding the fortunes of the well-known Remscheid quality tool manufacturer SOLIDA since January 1st, 2017.

The graduate in business administration has precisely defined her goal for SOLIDA – healthy, sustainable growth. In addition to modernisation and the realignment of sales activities in order to sustainably meet the requirements for outstanding quality and short delivery times, the focus is on production optimisation.

The optimisation of processes is a strategically essential goal for strengthening SOLIDA's position in the market and ultimately to secure and maintain stable jobs with development potential and opportunities for advancement. Here, Julia Broy represents a leadership style with flat hierarchies and open communication. The greatest potential for the success of the company will be tapped together with employees while simultaneously extending expertise.

The company's growth requires a stable foundation. This includes systematic and future-oriented personnel planning – recruitment of new, skilled employees, training of in-house tool and industrial mechanics, and rejuvenation of the team to create a healthy mix of dynamism, inquisitiveness, and invaluable experience. The SOLIDA team is doing extraordinary things, actively accompanying the changes with creative ideas, dedication, competence and commitment.

As the company principal, Julia Broy considers it a matter of course to personally know and understand both the processes in the company and all the enterprise's employees. Employees have the opportunity to regularly suggest, implement and exchange ideas, wishes, information or improvements. On the other hand, Julia Broy also recognises that direct contact with the customer is crucial. Whether donned with a helmet on-site at the customer's tunnel construction site or on international business trips around the globe: she integrates impulses from the market directly into the company operation.

Julia Broy has further developed the company and made it fit for future tasks and challenges. Since customer requirements are becoming more and more individualised, digitisation offers itself a tool to do justice to meet the ever-changing demands. Modifications and improvements to the product are other important tasks intensifying innovation development.

Contact maintenance and service are the instruments to precisely serve the customer's needs and also to offer an advisory function as a manufacturer. The added value of each product must be clearly recognisable to the customer – SOLIDA convinces professionals on the job with the high quality and extremely long service life and operating times of its forged insertion tools.
